Our superstar elites need to be acknowledged.
How do the self-professed and self-assured stars of our culture act during a pandemic, when they are as equally isolated as the rest of us normies are? Could it be that their natural narcissism, egotism and arrogance diminishes in the face of human tragedy, as they communicate their indisputable indispensability from their respective kitchens and dens? Or could it be that they just get worse with their constant demand for attention? Well, maybe tonight at 8PM EST we’ll find out exactly what that entails in this age of enforced isolation.
Lady Gaga is curating an online and television concert, in cooperation with Global Citizen and the World Health Organization (WHO). Broadcasters such as ABC and NBC in the United States, the CBC in Canada, and the BBC in the United Kingdom, as well as numerous international internet platforms, will stream the concert One World: Together At Home. There are many of those ‘stars’ to enjoy, from Elton John to Paul McCartney, not to mention Burna Boy and Maluma. Of course.
The purpose of this concert is to enjoin the global fight against the Wuhan Virus event (COVID-19), as Hugh Evans, co-founder and CEO of Global Citizen states. Along with helping to arrange this concert and others like it, Global Citizen champions many causes, supported by individual “global citizens”, to lobby governments to spend more taxpayer money on their various programs.
As we honor and support the heroic efforts of community health workers, One World: Together At Home aims to serve as a source of unity and encouragement in the global fight to end COVID-19.

Donald Trump has predictably and inevitably offended many of his dedicated full-time detractors in the media, academia and, of course, stardom. Their main groupthink, brave hive-mind reasons for continuing to need to hate him include not acting quickly enough to contain the virus, acting too quickly to contain the virus by closing down air travel from China, and calling out the obvious cover-up from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the corrupt WHO in aiding and abetting said cover-up. OneWorld: Together At Home notably offers implicit support of, and funding for, the discredited WHO through their now ironically-named Solidarity Response Fund.

So sit back inside your isolated home-pod, and listen attentively and adoringly as those brave, noble and selfless quarantined superstars sing at you and tell you things. And after all is said and done, and lessons have been leaned, and wisdom imparted, and the correct amount of government worship is over, perhaps we can all have one big, long, communal clap.
