One of the features of a weak ideology is its aversion to criticism. This can be considered an academic argument, in which case it doesn’t really matter who wins. However, when an ideology affects the way you live in profound ways, it does matter. It matters because we are human, and all humans yearn for freedom; it is in our nature. ‘Global warming‘ is a weak ideology. It uses the coercion of government to force its conclusions on citizens whether they agree, disagree, don’t know or don’t care. It is a perfect fact, a law, a stricture, and none shall pass¹ who claim it is not so.
