Although Joe Scarborough is as dim-witted as ever [see here], New York Times journalist Maureen Dowd conferred some integrity into her profession. The reason: she is simply going through the facts (You remember what they are, don’t you Joe?) to look at the potential incompetence of the ambassador to the UN, Susan Rice. She is also not engaging in the race-baiting that some Democrat members have promoted. (Of course demanding the reasons why Rice said what she did is both racist and sexist…apparently.)
If Rice is incompetent, she has to go. If Rice deliberately misled the American people, she has to go. If Rice is involved in a cover-up over the true course of events before, during and after the Benghazi terrorist attack, she has to go.
But what of Obama? He told her to go before the television press. He told her what to say. Rice may be complicit, but Obama would be the real culprit. Unfortunately for the American people he won’t allow Rice to be questioned and he certainly doesn’t like answering questions, so what are you going to do?
