What can you say about ‘progressives’ that is mildly positive? Well, they are consistent.

Verbally consistent, in their inimitable anti-human, anti-individual and anti-freedom way, with lots of “You Must’s!”, many helpings of “You Cannot’s!”, numerous instances of “Only We Can’s!”, not to mention enormous dollops of “Fuck You’s!”

The are also physically consistent, in their inimitable anti-human, anti-individual and anti-freedom way, with lots of fires, many helpings of assualt, numerous instances of looting, not to mention enormous dollops of shooting police officers. (Some say that the real mission of these ‘anti-fascist’ fascists is that not nearly enough things are ablaze; in this they are quite correct, but as a philosophy it needs work.)

They are also consistently racist, in their inimitable anti-human, anti-individual and anti-freedom way, by comparing black people to animals (animals of course having no capacity for hatred, jealousy and other normal human attributes like bigotry), or by comparing black people to animals (animals of course having no capacity for personal responsibility and guilt, or other normal human attributes such as self-appraisal). Perhaps this is their verbal consistency as well? “Black people can’t be racist!” “Black on black crime is not the real issue!” Oh well. Consistency does not have to equate to logic.

Consistency – that’s mildly positive. At least we know where they are coming from. Kind of. Well, sort of. OK, not really at all in any way. But now, Netflix has also decided to become mildly consistent. I know – how brave, how edgy, how outside-the-box! But then again, too many in the media industry are frankly just animals.
